Last minute...

Yey! We got tickets to Elliott Yamin's concert in Market Market! Woohoo!!! =)
I get to kiss him on the cheek... (fine! i meant "beso beso") hehehe how cool is that?! He even greeted me a happy b-day. Twice! He greeted me again as we we're saying goodbye... aaaw... I was touched! =)
Oh, and he even said "how nice of you to celebrate your b-day here" ;-)
We had lunch earlier with my family at Pizza Company... Yummy Carbonara! =)

Finally! I was able to go back to CDO and try the Canopy walk! Super fun! It was 170 feet high....... woohoo! I want more!!!
Then the Zip line! =)
We passed by Makahambus Cave on our way back... & had lunch at Del Monte. Steak! =) Yummy!
Stayed at Xavier Estates... Lovely place!
Finally! I was able to go back to CDO and try the Canopy walk! Super fun! It was 170 feet high....... woohoo! I want more!!!

White Water Rafting is no joke!
Cagayan de Oro City - May 2007
White water rafting is no joke!!! It was about 3 1/2 hours long. We traveled 29 km and went through 35 rapids! The scenery was awesome, too bad we couldn't take more photos 'coz obviously we we're busy paddling... and yeah we didn't have a water proof camera...
- Just a little info, the Cagayan De Oro River actually separates Bukidnon (on the right) and Cagayan De Oro (on the left)...
When we started, our guide asked us if we wanted to go "mild or wild?"... We were a bit scared of falling off the raft so we went for "mild"... After going through a few "mild" rapids, we got a bit bored and so we decided to go for the "wild" rapids... =)) hahaha... And so our real adventure started! It was one wild, crazy ride!!! Our boat flipped during one of the rapids... We actually had a big hunch that our guide actually planned it. hehehe (so we would experience how it feels to fall off). Well, I got trapped under the raft. I don't know how long I was under it trying to hold my breath. And then finally I saw the light! hahaha… Nope, I wasn't going cross to the "other side". Somebody pulled me out... =D finally!!!
My body is soooooo sore after! I forgot to put sunblock (mortal sin!). So for 3 1/2 hours I tortured my skin by staying under the harmful rays of the sun! tsk tsk tsk... My muscles are aching right now =((
but its all worth it! =D
I really love CDO! I want to go back..... Now!!! The food is great! And cheap! I really liked it there. 2 days is definitely not enough!!!

Stayed all day at Virgin Beach resort... Had fun in the sun!
Went back to Roc's place, & had dinner...
We then had to set up the tent in the rooftop...
Nabilad sa araw the next morning! hehehe...
Had breakfast & went back to manila... =D

Bicol 2006

We left manila with hardly any sleep at all. It was around 1 in the morning when we left & I couldn't get any sleep during the trip... I can't tell if it was excitement or insomnia, coz I usually suffer from both :-)... Sad to say everybody else was deep in slumber... hmm, so what was left for me to do??? Sight seeing!!! The problem was it was pitch black outside ;-p hehehe...
But it didn't matter how tired I was from sitting down for about 6 to 7 hours coz when I got there it was pure adrenaline rush for me. It actually rained on our first day! But still we tried to surf... hehehe couldn't see clearly. Nope, we're not suicidal. It was just one of those totally crazy moments in your life!!! Well, since I'm still here & I was able to post our pics it means I (we) survived... ;-p
The best thing about that trip was actually being able to spend time with my high school friends who I only get to meet once in a while. Even if we all live close to each other! (busy studying... busy working...)
'Till my next surfing trip... which I really don't know when & if ever there will still be one... :-(
